Our little comedian

Our little girl is so great - she pulls the funniest faces. This is one where we caught her right before she fell asleep. Even if it is just gas, we thought it was pretty cute. She reminds us of Great Grandpa Pratt here.

Reagan Penelope Wilson

Reagan Penelope Wilson was born at 12:20 a.m. on June 2nd 2008. She weighed 7lbs. and 12 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. We went to the hospital on Sat. night so that Emily could begin the process of being induced (Reagan was more than a week overdue). She began having mild contraction and the nurse was worried that the medicine would make the contractions worse and make it difficult for Reagan, so they had to wait. After about 2 hours the contractions slowed down and the nurse gave her the pre- inducing medicine. To help her sleep through the contractions, the nurse gave her some Ambien which left Emily a little out of sorts. She was complaining that the lights looked like aliens with turbans. When morning came, Emily was having pretty strong and painful contractions, but Reagan was making little progress. The doctors were apprehensive to induce Emily while she was having normal contractions, but because Reagan wasn't making much progress, at 2:00 p.m. they decided to go ahead and induce her as planned. 10 hours later Reagan was born. It was a long and difficult process, but Emily was such a trooper. Both mother and baby are doing very well.
